Hello friends. I just want to convey my deepest and most heart felt thanks to those of you who have been following this blog from its birth last December through it's continued growth. Your apreciation means so much to those of us who work so hard to keep this blog running and updated. So, i know I can't say this enough but thanks so much!

Happy Anniversury "Kwaishein"

Friends, it has been a year since our prodigy Aneek released his first solo album Kwaishein. So, happy one year anniversury to Kwaishein! :) This album was one of the most important milestones in his career, right after winning the SaReGaMaPa world championship. Kwaishein won album of the year at the 2009 Kalakar Awards as well as ranking in the top 10 best selling non filmy albums in India according to the weekly album rating system... As we reflect on all Aneek has accomplished we wish him the best for his future and we know we'll have lots more anniversuries to celebrate ... Our Champ has a bright future ahead of him.

A Review of Aneek's Performance At Rhapsody 2009

I was just talking to another dedicated fan of Aneek’s and she told me she attended his most recent show (Rhapsody 2009) and I started asking her about her experience there. I thought other fans might want to know how the show went so I asked her if I could post a review of his show here. So my thanks go out to Tanima Bhattacharya because without her this review wouldn’t be possible.
She said Aneek “simply rocked.” He delivered many upbeat rocking numbers with what has now become Aneek’s signature style of uniqueness, confidence, poise and expert delivery. Then he sang a romantic number from the film Janaat (click below for video.)

Aneek also sang his new Bengali song from an upcoming Bengali album, which is supposed to be releasing this Puja. Aneek announced that some prominent Bollywood singers have also contributed to the album. Overall the show was very enjoyable and the crowd was a lively one! I want to thank Tanima once again for all the information she has shared with us.
